our freedom is'nt free.these brave in our military men and woman deserve our support and thanks.what get me all are politicans are millionaires and our service people get paid next to nothing for putting their lives on the line.combine that with our rules of engagement it sucks.

Very different "this time around". I am starting to loose count of the number of friends of my kids and kids of my friends seeing active duty. Just saw a picture of a kid I coached in high school lacrosse with his father who just got back from 400 days over there as a Guard captain. Good to see him home and healthy. Really hits home. Luckily no body that close has been a casualty, but you have to keep them all and all their families in our prayers all the time.

Prayers always for our all our military personnel and their families.

Unless you and your family know it first hand, it's hard to imagine what sacrafices are made by them, both in peace and war.

Those charts really drive home a true picture, Fred. :(

Thank you for starting this thread BBJ. A lot of people think about our service men and women serving overseas only during holidays. It's important to realize that these people don't get days off and are constantly under threat of attack. These hero's put their lives on the lines for us so that we can live here with all of our creature comforts in relative safety, and they don't even know us.
