Biggest disadvantage to being tall is when you catch a big fish.....they all look small in the pictures! Casting momentum - the biggest advantage, like a tall pitcher. A ten foot pole cast by a tall person is launching from way up.

Flap can cast one helluva long ways. I can, of course, outcast him.........only not with the line attached.

being short you can hide easier in those secret spots. being tall you stand out like a flag pole.
