Would go with a Needle or Pencil Popper, pref. @ Sunrise or Sunset. If no vehicle, expect to take a long walk. Best of luck.

ps: Would bring some tin too

tuff spot without 4x4
if none try
herring cove maybe  or do the long walk

tuna from shore there? ya once in a while a chunker might hookup and if he has serious gear may land a schoolie otherwise it's spool city.

you never know unless you try, I have not been out there this year yet, so I have no current info. good luck

Herring caove at dawm or dusk is your best shot, bring metal and pencil poppers, stop in and see Rich at Nelsons on Race Point road.

Give us a call 508 487 0034, will explain 4x4 situation.

Are good fish around if you want to walk 1 to 2 miles and don't mind fishing late hours.

Havent been down this year yet so no current news from me either but poke around and you can usually find something.

bluefish pretty consistent at last light from the ranger station north to the lighthouse (work until you find them), bass at night if you want to walk and throw swimmers or eels. Rich at Nelson's has it all. More beach opened yesterday.

If you are not getting a sticker, park at any of the ocean side beaches, but you need to go to the Visitor's Center at Race Point and get an overnight parking pass for the Seaside beaches or you'll experience the wrath of govm't.
