My knuckles met 500 lbs. of cooling fins & didn't win,the fins just sunk in right down to the knuckel I had too flaps hanging in the breeze squirting blood all over the place kinda looked like a crime scene.I ended up with three in each.
It figures things are starting to heat up and I'll be out for at least 2 days!

I had a similar occupational injury the other day. I was sitting down in my computer chair when my foot scraped against the wheel housing and sheared off an inch of skin. Blood everywhere. These occupational injuries suck :buds:

I sliced my mouse finger turning pages on a technical design document. I can't use the mouse wheel.
Does that count as a at work injury?

Looks like you got lucky on that one.
Just started in a place and a significant portion of my responsibility is eliminating the possibility of accidents like that. Not a small feat considering the newest machines were built around 1950 and haven't been moderized significantly. Good policy is to walk the factory with hands in pockets because until you become intimately familiar with every machine just touching something could lose you a finger.
