looks like Ike is projected to hit Marathon, just 20 miles north of here, as a cat 3-4 on tues. residents have already been told to evacuate, officially starting Sun. morning. my girl and I are going up to Orlando and renting a house with some of her teacher friends. I know a lot of people are nervous down here, a cat 4 would wipe this place out. hopefully the forecasters are wrong...

the storm's path has changed somewhat, it's now expected to pass just SW of the keys. it's looking better, but we're definitely not out of it yet. we are now planning on riding out the storm if it stays on course, but if it moves at all toward the N/NE, we're outta heuh.....
thanks NebeN. hope you're hittin' em good :rocketem:
I wish.. 2 nights ago I hit bart's cove and thought of you... no fish for me though.
Hey when the weather clears, take your chick on a date to this joint... I think of it often.
