I found this box in an empty house. Can any one date this? I have never seen the metal tabs on the ends, they look to be original.

Not sure on the date, but I have a couple 40 boxes like that and a wooden JR box in white with tabs.

I think it's from about '48. If I have time, I'll dig through my stuff and find out for sure.
