Van 09-10-2008, 08:04 AM Type http://www.google.com/products and enter the product/model. Quick way to compare prices. Set drop down to price low to high. There is always ebay. ProfessorM 09-10-2008, 08:42 AM Are those the discontinued chips that they no longer make and support? If so good luck. I finally gave up last year looking for a chip for a practically brand new unit a family member gave me and bought a new unit. Happy hunting. BTW Dave send me your addy in a PM I have a little something I would like to give you if you wouldn't mine. Uncle Matt 09-10-2008, 03:11 PM Dave - If it is still being made check with Jim at www.byownerelectronics.com. I have found that BOE Marine has the best prices and the shipping only takes a day or two. I bought all of my electronics from him over the years. Good luck and I hope this helps. I need to get you back out on the water Desperate One! Matt BigBo 09-10-2008, 08:19 PM That unit uses the newer, still available BlueChart format. Shouldn't be too hard to find. BasicPatrick 09-15-2008, 12:38 AM Stiff Tip I just bought the Garmin Blue Chart (CD format) for $129 or so at West Marine (not where I bought the handheld). We searched high and low for a better price and only found one web site selling for $10 less. Decided to go with West Marine. I think the Atlantic is what we bought. It has most of the east coast and is awesome with details, even for Barnstable Harbor and amall coves on MV. We were going to buy the pre loaded Sd card but got the CD. Great to lay info out on the home puter and then just shoot it up into the handheld. piemma 09-15-2008, 07:31 AM I bought the Blue Chart chip for Narr Bay for my 172C. Don't remember where but I know it was $99 plus shipping. stiff tip 09-15-2008, 05:06 PM piemma..thats the best price yet...try to remember .....think way back... animal 09-15-2008, 07:00 PM I'm pretty sure Defender marine in Ct will discount your new chip if you trade in your old one. stiff tip 09-17-2008, 04:38 AM mtc .....waiting to hear from you ???? did you get my pm ... dave.
