We'll go into detail on Reputation Points in a bit but primarily it is a rating system so when someone asks a question and say you help them out, they can throw some points for thanks. Those that participate help out more will get more points, and I may look into ways to award them. We'll discuss it in a few weeks once I get the rest of the board squared away.

And that's one of the things we'll figure out. We give it a shot, and if it seems like boot camp we'll get rid of it. But there are some interesting things we could do with it.

Some how I got reputations point(s). I thought that was a BAD thing. ;)

I'm still not on i-trader status. :P

Can I get points for pm people as opposed to posting directly on the forums like I had been doing for the past two yrs ...... LOL. :)

Each of us has things we can do well, things we do ok and things we are BAD at. I have no secrets to hide and I don't do anything that well over any one else except that I'm dedicated to whatever cause I am working on at the time. :D

My down fall is that I trust people until they prove otherwise. ;)

My comment: "I never met a fisherman I didn't like" still holds true.

Reputation points are gone. Maybe we'll bring them back up later. Basically, they were points for posts, being helpful, participation, etc - that would be used to do stuff.

Since I add nothing here the only way I'd get rep points would be for me to register under a 2nd id and just keep giving the other id points.

Hell, I was just kidding around. Hope they are not gone because of my reference to an old movie

but :soon:

ouch... to combine these two quotes...:o

but yes... my 17 year old reminds me at least twice a day that i am old...lately it is "very" old...

i tell her yep.. old enuf to remember what it is like to be 17 and the chit i tried to pull... so... don't even try.. cause i do remember... :hihi:

amazing... her brother who is 22 backed me up.. "yeah... you ain't gonna get it by the old man... even if you think so... he will bust you at some point"....

so.. bottom line.. i'm old, but still "aware:... :hihi:

does that get me a rep point, or an infraction? ;)

Dang!she'll be going from being called a summer screen to a snow fence soon.
