Last Sept. I posted a pic of a kid I took fishing who's mom brought him to my house at 4 in the morning so we could hit the tides at the canal one Sat. Well, just to follow up a little on Mike's progress I'll let you know his mom works in Scituate for the lobstermens Association and he goes to work with her at times in the summer So naturally he spends his time by the docks soaking up info and chunking herring for bass or whatever.

Well go to the link here and see a pic of Michael Quigley's nice bluefish. He also managed quite a few decent bass in the harbor this summer on herring chunks.

Another surfrat in the making:)

I don't know about that kid, Slip. Looks to me like the kind of guy who would get all excited and leave ya rod & reel on the beach after ya just landed a 30#er. :p

Just kidding. Mike's a nice kid. Or at least he was before he became a Slipnut fishing maniac.

Jim, I don't think I have to worry about Mike forgetting a rod on the rocks like Joey did last spring. As I recall it was my rod anyway:smash: :smash: so I'm to blame. Thankfully some honest and observant fishermen were there to rescue the rod :D

thanks for the comments folks.
