We are still have an Adelphia e-mail address at home. Yesterday we began to be unable to send out e-mails, although we still receive them. I keep getting an error message stating that we should check our SMTP address because the server at Adelphia is not accepting what we have (but it always has before and nothing has changed) or the server is busy or something. Now, because we're still getting e-mail I think there is something wrong on their end, not mine. Here's the problem. I called Comcast (our ISP and the one who took over Adelphia accounts in our area) and they had no idea what to do other than contact Adelphia, which frankly I didn't even think still existed, but of course they must, because how else would there be a server somewhere still administering e-mail, right???! But a search on the internet only gave me phone numbers in Vermont where their tech support *used* to be that were disconnected!! So...does anyone have any ideas on this, or hopefully, have a valid tech support number for Adelphia? Thanks VERY much! My wife is getting pretty frustrated with this, and that is NEVER a good thing!
