Holy Crap!

I watched this last night for the first time, though it is a year old, it was on Starz. The last time a movie made me this wound up watching it was Fargo!

I had nightmares that some terminator-like crazy nut was after me!:jump1:

Anyone see it? What did you think?

lots of violent murder scenes, really bad ending, pointless

Part two is on the way...................my wife and I watched it also. Whack out, but well-acted.

Does everyone think the ending sucked? Think he greased the wife? I have to watch it again to catch things I missed....I liked Woody Harrelson's character, the poor bastard.

I don't think so Prof M, it should turn the stomach of any decent person, but I am fascinated by the story behind the story. What was really going on and by whom. I am going to have to re-watch it again with some new info I read online today.

Thought it was one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen.Ranks right up there with Shamalamadingdong's "The Village" and Speilberg's "AI."

I thought it was a great flick...the ending did seem a little "Anti-climactic" though...Their new Flik looks interesting "Burn After Reading"

And if you want to see a flick that will distub the chit out of you check out Blue Velvet....one of THE most twisted Villains ever.

and besides best film that has the worst ending.......The Matrix. Was on its way to being one of the best Sci-Fi movies ever.....Until she saves the Day by saying "I Love You" WTF....:wall:

Tommy Lee quit. Harellson stank the place out I can't believe that that movie won an Academy Award. For my money it sucked and I loved Pulp Fiction.

absolutely a most pissah movie, very well done for that genre of movie.. there are movie forum boards that have flame wars over the ending tho.. :hihi:
Javier Bardem played the villian to perfection.. Tommy Lee Jones, always good, as was Josh Brolin...

it has been on several times this month on the different movie channels.. if anybody has not seen, keep an eye out for it!! :kewl:

Agreed.

Friendo.

loved No Country. i thought the ending was brilliant. went together with the whole movie. i love the whole chance vs. fate theme. Tommy Lee said throughout the movie, "You can't stop what's coming" and that he cpuldn't understand "that type of evil". I think it portrayed society well; evil doesn't make sense and there seems to be more evil out there than ever before...
