I agree, while I can't stand Tom Cruise it's a very moving movie. Makes you want to suit up and go kick some ass.

You keep watching those lunatic movies and you’re going to end up being a maladjusted old fisherman with a lot of bad thoughts in your head and carrying a concealed weapon.

A little side note on Old Yeller. My best friend growing up was Tommy Kirk's cousin. Kirk sent him one of those puppies you saw at the end of the movie. My friend Bill named him Jeff, Jeff was one of the neighbor hood characters and was always with Bill. He lived nearly 20 years.

buckman 09-26-2008, 05:49 AM As far as recent movies, I'll say The Departed was a good one.
Clock Work Orange, I must have watched that 20 times back in high school.
Went to see Clockwork Orange at the Avon - an arty type film house with a lot of goatees present. My friends and I laughed hysterically at all the mayhem. Yelling out things like, "Get him Alex!" and “What’s happened to your’s, little sister?” to no one in particular.
Got a lot of bad looks from the "sophistos" that night.
