I second Numbskull on that - not many out there that would release a special fish like that. You deserve some special kudos.

that was a beauty of fish and a great night for you, Dan. you did a great job keeping that fish alive, it was a real pleasure to watch that fish swim off. nice going man :kewl:

Did the same exact thing last week myself: new surf PB 42 lbs., released! (thanks for the pic-- none of mine unfortunately...)

(mine landed in front of 2- 3 dozen other casters 1/2 hour after first light in a VERY crowded NY surf Mecca! :uhuh: )


Bass that big are worth way more than food, alive & still swimming! :kewl:

Nope that one came on an eel.
Johnny, I wish we could have caught up on your trip, hopefully next time. I'm just happy you were able to get on some fish while you were down.
