Was building a step for my shop entrance (in my basement). My keyless chuck froze solid.:smash: Have tried everything to get it unstuck to no avail. So I call my Dad and ask if he has an extra drill. He says "Yes". So I make the trip up there, and pick up the drill. Get it home, plug it in, the chuck is F%^#*@) UP on that one too:wall:

I call the store where I bought the original drill and of course I need a receipt to exchange it which I can't find.:fury:

Think I'll go to sleep now before I mess up my computer.:cens:

heat it up

then put it in your freezer

then spray it with nut buster spray

hold the cuck with a rag and try running it a second

in reverse than forward -> to see if it'll bust it loose

i had that problem more than once and it used to drive me crazy till i figured out that if you tap the jaws that hold the bit down into the drill with the claw of a hammer it releases it. try it. It works for me on different kinds of drills. dont wail on it, just a few taps inward.hope it helps
