love all the jones flicks, but this movie sucked. Awful. dumb plot, no suspense, nothing funny.

I think Speilberg and Lucas should retire, have they come out with any good movies lately? Ever since AI, I can barely stomach Speilberg.

AI did suck, that was terrible.

Haven't seen the new Indy movie yet but it follows the pattern
Raiders - Awesome
Temple - Terrible
Crusade - Excellent

I think his days as a great director are behind him....he still does function well as a producer and backing some quality movies (i.e. Flags of our fathers, Memoirs of a Geisha, Band of Brothers). last great movie he actually directed was Saving Private Ryan. But he has directed some excellent movies in the past (i.e. Amistad, Schindlers List)

Lucas is Star Wars....period. He really hasn't directed anything, other than that, of any signifcance since American Graffiti

you're right, must give him credit for Band Of Bros and Private Ryan.

Maybe terrible is a little harsh....but after Raiders it was definitely a big disappointment.

Raiders has got to be one of the best....if not THE best action film ever

I keep seeing the clips for the movie on tv and the special effects look like they cut the budget for the film to about $16.50 and a case of fire crackers!!! They look so bad I had to pass!:hs:

I saw it on a plane last week. IMHO not bad entertainment if you like the genre.
