Every year I go to the York Maine Harvestfest for the day. They slow cook beans underground in a firepit and roast an Ox every year too. It's a great little fair put on by the York Chamber of Commerce and I look forward to the Chili, the hot apple crisp with vanilla ice cream, and the chance to see my most favorite watercolor artist besides Tony Stetzco. As some of you know I have a great room devoted to fishing and over the years I have gotten quite a collection of Robert Drewal watercolors. This guy has a very particular talent of being able to capture scenes that use very brilliant colors and I've not ever seen a canvas he's done that I didn't like. Some catch my eye more than others. He does alot of fly fishing trout picture but is also very adept at saltwater scenes too. I picked this one up today (18x24 size) and thought I'd show you guys a pic of it. Absolutely stunning. Very very talented guy. :btu: If any of you ever get a chance to get one I highly recommend him.
