spence 10-18-2008, 06:45 PM So I'm really hoping Josh can pitch us into the 6th inning at least. Otherwise we're toast...
So who will be the first to jinx the game, Bigfish or Striperman? :lossinit:

tynan19 10-18-2008, 11:04 PM What a game. Anyone else have their own personal superstitions while watching the game. I stopped drinking when Masterson started pitching. As soon as he was s#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g I said I need to get a beer and he got his stuff back. On a serious note what did Farrell say to him to make pitch so well?
tynan19 10-18-2008, 11:05 PM Pics of the fans was priceless. Did you see the lady crying with the blue hair.
The Dad Fisherman 10-18-2008, 11:25 PM On a serious note what did Farrell say to him to make pitch so well?

JohnR 10-19-2008, 09:59 AM Yep..Can you imagine if they lose game 7??Load up the Tampa area with Prozac and Paxil.Suicide prevention hotlines will be on overload....Varitek picked the right time to get his first hit..
Good news is a lot of the local populace will know how to talk the newbie Rays fans off the Ledge. What's the Tampa equivalent of the Tobin?
I listened to the game from the 2nd inning at the beach to home. After about the 7th I was nodding off and waking up every 10-20 seconds watching the game, wondering how much I missed and how long I was out. Can't be good for health to snore and wake up several times per minute. Was worth it though. And was asleep 20 seconds after Youk caught the ball (think it was him :tooth: - twas a bit foggy in my brain)
striperman36 10-19-2008, 10:45 AM there will be alot of sleepy people at the office tomorrow.
I cannot imagine regardless of the score turning away from tonights game/

striperman36 10-19-2008, 11:01 AM well sleep on the plane.
Slipknot 10-19-2008, 12:00 PM Glad they won, Francona does know what he's doing after all.
tonight's game is gonna be even bigger
I hope that guy who called EEI late last week gets more jaegermeister:laughs: :kewl:
Clogston29 10-19-2008, 12:02 PM this game is huge for tampa tonight. not so much for the players, but the organization. if they lose, the ground swell of fans and support down there will probably dry up pretty quick and they'll take a huge step back. they'll still have good players, but without people in the seats (they need to sell season tickets and luxury boxes) they'll start losing too much money and have to start looking to trade guys.

The went from the cellar to the attic in 1 year, I don't think it's cause for alarm if they lose. They don't have a huge salary base and everybody's going to want to go to the games now.
It could be the SOX-RAYs until the Yankmee's get new blood.
