Frankiesurf 10-20-2008, 12:35 PM Nice job RJ I have been surf casting for about a year and a half. I also just landed a personal best. 41.5 inches and 25 pounds. It took a chicken scratch Redfin, pulled some drag and I thought I lost my plug. I pinched my line and started reeling until my line pulled taught and I realized this fish ran straight at me anf was just about on the beach. Both split rings on my Redfin pulled straight as I got her on the beach so I had to tackle it in the wash to get her in. This with my buddy watching thinking I am nuts. The worst part was walking the mile back to the car with EVERYONE staring at me and asking me where,when, on what and ever other question under the sun. the point 10-20-2008, 04:11 PM NICE FISH!!!
