things have pretty well dried up here on the north shore. was thinking about making a trip south for one last go at it. anyone have any luck in the canal lately, or maybe points south? gas is cheap enough for me to drive again:bl:

I had about 10 bass on Friday night, including one 34" that was in the low teens.

Last night, same tide, same location, a big fat goose egg.

Fish will still move through, even though there doesn't seem to be much bait to keep them there very long. If you're there when they pass, they're feeding.

As of Sat morning there were some small fish to be had. Also saw two seals. One a small, harbor seal seemed to follow me as I tried to get away from him....a-hole. Some herring around but didn't seem enough to hold.
