It is a certainty we see gas prices drop below $2.00 a gallon! Spots in Iowa selling as low as $1.78 a gallon! $2.13 up the street from me and it has been dropping .05 cents a day for almost a week and a half!:jump1:

1.99 around here. It was 2.79 when I was in Pheonix yesterday. Glad I don't live there.

And Ahmadinejad and/or Russia will stir up some trouble soon to raise the price per barrel...

Russia needs expensive oil to exist as they see themselves. We'll hear from them again.

And soon too...Medvedyev is to Putin what Bush was to Cheney - a puppet.

I had the chance to meet and talk at length a number of times with a young Russian banker over the course of the summer - a very bright young guy I became friendly with - and he gave me a first-hand perspective on Russia and Eastern Europe you couldn't have possibly gotten anywhere else.

Fascinating to see the world from his perspective as the son of dissident parents - and he wants out big-time to come to the West with his wife and baby daughter

Can't say I blame him

All these countries that borrowed money to pay for various projects when they were earning $100.00 plus a barrell are choking now that they have to pay back what they borrowed aginst $55.00 a barrell a year or so later.
