Well put, Spence. I don't understand how anyone who truly loves and appreciates this country and how great it is, can think that one person or administration can destroy it.

I'm no Obama fan and would never vote for him, but I'm rooting like hell that he succeeds as President.

America has been circling the drain for a quite a few years..
and its no one person but our government has made a ton of bad choices over the years

I love my country I hate our politicians

I can't say and would have to disagree with anyone who states this is the greatest country on earth... My one question is always how many other countries have you visited or lived in....

Hell research the economics of other countries, the crime rates, the amount of homeless and poor in other countries, and the civil freedoms..

You will quickly learn there are better places to live if those things matter to you but this is our home and we were great once and we can be again

Obama is no miracle worker but he does breed hope and your all right he is one man but from the hope he inspires more men(and women) will raise up and take actions they may at one time felt hopeless to do...

So one man can't make a difference but he can inspire other great men in that he has all ready achieved a lot

I agree, we just saw a man mislead the country into a disastrous war, ruined US relations around the world, wrecked the economy, squandered a budget surplust to give tax cut to fat-cat friends, played a guiter while N.O. drowned, politicized the justice department, cozied up to oil comp. and betrayed American values by promoting torture, warrentless eavesdropping and a modern day gulag at Gitma for people never even charged with a crime couldn't do it, I doubt anyone can.

What is this supposed to mean?

I'd rather you think on your own than ruin it for you.
