Camping this weekend, I think my troop is trying to kill me....looked at the trip plan they created and we're not hiking up 1 mountain, not 2, but 3 different peaks. Granted they aren't big ones but I'm an old man and I think they know it.

I should have known it would just be a matter of time before they turned on me...and my son is the one in charge.

If I get a break in the weather I will finish raking for the year (YEAH!!!) and lime the crap out of the lawn and bushes before the ground freezes.
------
My boat is all put away so I may get under the tarp and start brainstorming about moving and upgrading my electronics. With the uncertainty of the economy it looks like I'll be keeping my boat for a few more years.

My weekend started very early this morning.
Took my nephew (who just finished up a 6 year stint in the Marines) for a cruise around Boston harbor and maybe try to jig up a few cod each.
9:00 am haul out
11:0 am the boat is on blocks and stands at my house.
Plans for sat & sun,
Hopefully some good samaritan will talk me off the Chuck Stewart diving board on the upper level of the Tobin Bridge ! :nopain:

I've been told by the dr's, that the wife's baby could come any day now, I guess I'll be sitting by the door this weekend with the bags packed and ready.

Don't do that, man. Your life is about to change forever. Take her to the best restaurant you can afford, order her a romantic dinner, gaze into her eyes......at which time her water will break, all hell will break loose, and 24 hours later you'll be standing there exhausted, deliriously happy, scared out of your wits, smack in the middle of the biggest miracle you could ever imagine. Enjoy.

It could take longer. The first time I would have been sitting for two weeks. I delivered the second one myself.

Thanks !
I haven't stopped smiling since the day I bought the new one!
Thats a good way of looking at it as "father & son.
As for the son,
It would be nice if hey moved away from home and start his own family,
but with this economy in the dumper I refuse to send him off on his own till he gets a good paying job !
