Dont have any pics, but flies like clousers seem to work well. A fly guy gave me a few and they worked great for schoolies. Also a tube bodied sandeel was pretty darn good, and caught a keeper on it this year. First time i have gotten a keeper on a teaser.

The simple ones work most of the time. Even though I tie flies, my surf teasers are usually just a few hackle feathers on a hook. I usually use white, but sometimes black for night. Once in a while, I may add a bit of flash. The fish had no problem eating that yesterday:D.

Why would you use anything at night other than red gills considering how well they work?

I've used walmart rubber on a hook with success .. inexpensive but not as durable as a red gil .. Also had success with decievers when there on small ..

Second that. There's nothing more durable, either.

Weaser's teasers worked well for me this fall. Day and night. Shoot a PM to Swimmer.

Ken Abrames "September night" pattern is excellent for use as a teaser in addtion to being a damn good fly in and of itself.

I get mine from Silver Horde. They are in Washington state. Their site seems to be down right now, but here is another link I use.

I like the needlefish squids as opposed to the regular squids as they have a slim profile. I get them unrigged and rig them on 3/0 or 4/0 long shank hooks. Secure with a touch of Zap-A-Gap.

Hope that helps - Ed
