I have a Mead telescope I really never use. Thought I would put it up here first.

Has a 5 1/2" lens, comes with 3 different eye pieces, tripod, and computer system with motorized drive to direct it to specific planets and constellations.

I have seen the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn with this thing, but I never use it anymore. I do not have the instruction book, but I am sure one can be obtained by contacting mead.

This thing cost me $350 about 4 years ago and is in mint condition.

NEW PRICE $60.. I need this gone.

Circlehook,

I would like to see a photo or two. Can you provide the model number?

Thanks

I can't find a model number anywhere. I do know that the computer system says Meade Autostar. Here are a few pictures. Keep in mind the tripod telescopes up, so it can be another 2' or so when fully extended.

Wierd....

That might be the DS-127 not 100% sure...

I grabbed the manual for a friend last month for his DS-90...

Yeah Leptar, thanks, that looks to be correct.

It is odd that there is no model number on it, unless I am just not seeing it.

If anyone is interested in this, please make some kind of an offer, any kind of fishing related trade even. I just moved to an apartment, and have no room for this. These are so much fun.

Thanks for looking.

Not much to it really, just point it at an object and adjust the focus. I am a complete novice and I managed to find stuff.

I really need to get this out of my apartment, will consider any decent offers, trades..

Mike,

Was at a wedding at your CC a few weeks ago, they got your name embossed on the sign in the lobby. I thought they only do that once you die??
