Are there any fly tying classes around here, where someone who knows nothing about fly tying can learn how?
If anyone knows anything please pm me.
Thanks

Most fly shops have info on classes. Doing a search on this site and others will give you plenty of info on what you need plus step by step instructions.

Every winter in Malborough they have a fly fishing expo. They have lectures, slide shows, and they sell all kinds of stuff for fly fishing. They also have dozens of tyers that are there tying their flys. You can walk up to them and most are more than happy to answer any questions you'll have. I've been to this the last three years, and every time they also have a well-known tyer doing a demonstration with it being videotaped and projected on a large t.v. right above the booth. They even have a area in the middle where they do casting demonstrations.

They hold it every year during the winter....Febuary i think. It probably won't be long before they start sending out their pamphlets saying who'll be there this year and what the show topics are. Once I find out I'll let you know.
