The only deer I got this year so far was a six pointer my buddy (non hunter and sqeemish about the whole deer being dead thing) hit on the way home from work last week at midnight. He was about half a mile in front of me and clipped the rear leg of the deer causing a compound fracture that broke the femoral artery and the deer bled out right there. Waited for the Trooper gutted it and threw it in the back of the truck and off I went.
