View Full Version : WTB airbrush
montauksrfcastr 12-04-2008, 10:05 PM As many of you know, I got an airbrush for an early x mas gift from my parents. I used it once and it broke on me. Needless to say,I'm very upset because I'm now out a christmas gift from my parents and an airbrush. If anyone has a nice one they would be willing to sell, it would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully an iwatta. Thanks!

Do you know how to disassemble and clean it? You can't "break" an airbrush without a hammer. The parts in it can be damaged, but are easy and cheap to replace.
montauksrfcastr 12-05-2008, 02:51 PM Thanks for the input guys. It splatters, drips, pauses everything. We clean it out after every use very good. We spent almost an hour taking it upart and cleaning it. BTW, There is not warranty under it.
Thanks!

BigFish 12-05-2008, 09:52 PM Nick are you using a full face shield? Glad its not bad...be careful!;)

redcrbbr 12-06-2008, 12:25 AM have you tried hooking it up to an air compressor, much easier than blowing into it. :rotf3:
in all seriousness, take care of that eye and remember rule number one is always safety.
try great northern tool supply, they have a few stores. they have junk ones to pretty good ones. They also sell face shields.
Maybe it is the paint you are using. Some of the cheaper craft store paints don't shoot without thinning.
montauksrfcastr 12-06-2008, 08:13 AM im using createx. By the way, Got my dad to bring home a full face sheild from work tonight. Thanks guys! Still looking!
Nick
