After a sucessfull summer ( I survived to fish another year) I jumped on my Chrismass "owesies" early.. and made a few extra just in case...

Jointeds are all 12" long and weigh 4 ounces..

The baby pikies are 4 1/2" and weigh an ounce, the little surfsters are 3/4 of an ounce at 4 1/4"

the last picture hodgpoge is a variaty of Chrismass presents, ranging from big jointeds to surface poppers, to medium surfsters and pikies..

Dear Santa,

I have been a very good boy this year. All I would like for Christmas is a new popper, a baby pikie and a surfster........

Seriously, nice work. Those are beauties.

Nice Joe. That's a list many of us would like to be on.... I hope to get the lathe turning right after the holidays. You guys are light years ahead of me.

I am delaying as much as possible the start of plugbuilding this year. I used to be pretty slow spinning them on the drill press. Now it is 5 minutes a blank including cutting the stock. I have to make this last till May or I will make too many like last year. Besides I read Zeno's book and have convinced myself to go to the darkside this year.
Oh yes we could. Spoilin' nice fish. Give it to us raw and w-r-r-riggling; you keep nasty plugss.

Nice work . Do you sleep during plug building season?

'bout the same amount I do during fishing season....I'll get all the sleep I need when I'm dead.
