View Full Version : Back at it...
Rockfish9 12-08-2008, 02:27 PM After a sucessfull summer ( I survived to fish another year) I jumped on my Chrismass "owesies" early.. and made a few extra just in case...
Jointeds are all 12" long and weigh 4 ounces..
The baby pikies are 4 1/2" and weigh an ounce, the little surfsters are 3/4 of an ounce at 4 1/4"
the last picture hodgpoge is a variaty of Chrismass presents, ranging from big jointeds to surface poppers, to medium surfsters and pikies..
fishbones 12-08-2008, 02:46 PM Dear Santa,
I have been a very good boy this year. All I would like for Christmas is a new popper, a baby pikie and a surfster........
Seriously, nice work. Those are beauties.
ProfessorM 12-08-2008, 02:48 PM Beautiful as always Joe. I'm a ways behind

angler229 12-08-2008, 04:27 PM Very nice, and if santa is watching those darters in the last picture look sweet.
nightfighter 12-08-2008, 04:34 PM Nice Joe. That's a list many of us would like to be on.... I hope to get the lathe turning right after the holidays. You guys are light years ahead of me.
Pete F. 12-08-2008, 05:39 PM I am delaying as much as possible the start of plugbuilding this year. I used to be pretty slow spinning them on the drill press. Now it is 5 minutes a blank including cutting the stock. I have to make this last till May or I will make too many like last year. Besides I read Zeno's book and have convinced myself to go to the darkside this year.
Oh yes we could. Spoilin' nice fish. Give it to us raw and w-r-r-riggling; you keep nasty plugss.
numbskull 12-08-2008, 06:26 PM Those get the blood pumping, Joe. Thanks for showing them.
