Ronnie, the current Sox logo is probably about the 6th one the team has used. And for years, they didn't even have a logo. The first logo was designed in the early 1900's. If you really want tradition, you'd have to go back several logos.

This was the sox "tradition" from 1950 - 59. Do you like it better than the current logo?

Anyways, I think they will just have a new logo for the new "alternate" uniform. It's just a way to sell more stuff and make more money.

Somebody's going to have to pay for Texeira....a lot of revenue is generated off of logo merchendise....new logo, new stuff that the "Pink Hat" brigde will need to buy...

Anybody see the "New" look.....they rolled them back to the 80's uniforms and got the logo with the pair of sox with no other fields. A Classic look.
