View Full Version : Petition to Remove PETA's Tax Exemption status
mikecc 12-15-2002, 08:53 AM This is a petition I was made aware of through my local fishing club to have PETA's tax exemption removed. As some of you know PETA is mounting a campaign against fishing, this is one way we can fight back.

redcrbbr 12-15-2002, 11:48 AM I personally agree with what this petition says, and I think you might
agree, too. If you can spare a moment, please take a look, and consider
signing yourself.

Question...
After I signed, I tried to get to the www.petaa.com address at the bottom of the petition. Led to a DNS error. Anyone else try?

Great, the word is spreading.
Damn treehuggers.....!!!!
hooked 12-17-2002, 11:22 AM It looks as if the person that started this petition is no longer maintaining the site www.petaa.com. A google search on "petaa" will lead to a cached page with details of the demise of this site.
Now that there are 43221 signatures, where does this go?
Does anyone know if there is a person or group leading the charge?
Did I just add my email address to another spam list?
