Anyone ever hear of, or read this book? It is written by a psychologist who also happens to be an avid fisherman. the book is basically about the correlation between psychology and fishing(as you might have guessed) and why we as fishermen are drawn to the sport; as well as why fishermen behave the way they do. i just started this book and can't put it down. although it can be somewhat technical at times, i find it's a fairly easy read and is a nice change from traditional "how to" books. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone on the site, especially any avid flyfishermen(although it appeals to all types of fishing). i'm not even done with it and it's already one of my favorites...

Sounds interesting. Did a quick check on Amazon and found the author's follow up to Pavlov's Trout, Darwin's Bass. May have to pick these up this winter.

Thanks Bart. If you get a chance and don't mind the fly fishing scene John Gierach has a nice writing style.
