In my neck of the woods, they're putting up a new (Bridge :D:D) ... aka, fish magnet!!!

I was God-child sitting yesterday and we happened to drive by it. Wouldn't it be great for her when she's 40 sometin' to look at some pictures of what the area looked like before this bridge gets built and maybe tell her children of our fun day together?? Well we did!! I snapped various shots of her with the construction in the background. It was funny kinda strange for her yesterday, but I'm sure someday she will appreciate these shots. I also had her take a few pictures, ;) make it a little more special for her too I hope.

In a local Pub 99, they have some old pictures on the walls. The pictures are of my city back in the day. I still remember some of the buildings that are now gone, but I would have loved to have some sort of memorabilia for myself.

....Am I getting soft in my years??? :smash:

Way to go Bloo!

I did some memory-maker photos on Saturday @ Edaville with my son & god-daughter. Well, OK - my mom did as I forgot to bring the camera :rollem:

But it was fun and he had a BLAST!

CR1:

I can relate to you.

My daughter is also leaving the nest next year for college.

It is really going to be strange without her at home.
It s hard for me to realize she is an adult now.
