breathe deep..the air quality is noticeably better in the cold, than it will be in a few short months...was outside walking the dog, and then filling the cellar wood box from the pile..not quite halfway thru this winters pile...and will prolly start splitting some of next winters pile today, as it is a great day for that activity..

i am a convert...i love the arctic air..not looking forward to March and April..those months seem colder because of the increase in moisture content...(the cussed humidity factor....) and them damn spring winds we get here..just drive it to the bone... even tho it is single digits, and possibly below, with the slight wind chill factor today, it feels better to me than one of them 30 degree March days, with the wind blowing that damp air right thru ya....

so dress correctly...bundle up, and get out and breathe some quality air!!!

got two brothers who live down there still...and love listening to the good life stories...:hihi:...:rolleyes:...one won't leave the house hardly, the other carrys a cannon, and got a hp plate so he can park closer to buildings, 'cause he can't be away from the AC too long....

Dude, go to your nearest health food store and buy slippery elm throat lozenges by Thayer.... they are cheap but are worth their weight in gold :point: when it comes to bronchitis...

you can even make a tea with them or just buy the slippery elm powder and make your own but unlike most teas you'd have to strain it thru a regular coffee filter to have red clear liquid
then re-heat it

if you try and make the red tea from the slippery elm bark powder it becomes so mucilaginous it looks like one of those little clear jellyfish .... so you have to double strain it to get it back to clear.... that tea is so healing....it's amazing.

that's the beauty of it striperman36 ...it's so slippery it's able to dislodge or unstick the phlem globs that's clinging to your to your throat around your windpipe area which causes a reactionary cough to clear it away so you can breath response.
