I have been painting jigs with the protec powder. I have been making smilling bills. I have been happy with the colors. Only one problem how do you color the mouth and eyes of the jig if you want them different colors than the body of the jig. For example white body with red eyes and mouth? could you use model paints over the protec? any ideas would be appreciated thanks charlie

For the red on the mouth of a smiling bill, I use power paint. Dip the jig as usual in the main color (e.g., white). Immediately after dipping, take a small paint brush and dip it in the red and apply to the jig. You can also use the vinal paints after the jig is cured to do the mouth and eyes in different colors. I use a nail inserted into a thin dowel to do the eyes.
