Got a bill from the mooring company today, 2/13, that covers annual service for 2009, and materials (Chain and shackle replacement). Said due upon receipt.... If I had gotten this in April, I would have no problem fitting it into the month's budget, but in February??? I understand he has to pay for chain, but I feel he is a little early.
What do you think?
Not only does he have to pay for materials, he also has to work on your mooring. Imagine goig through all that work and have some one stiff you..

He is a friend, and does a good job. And I am always prompt in paying in all things, especially concerning the boat. But my mooring is in ten feet of water at high tide, and he isn't going to service it for another three months...
If he is your friend, call him up and say you will pay him in april. :D

He probably thinks a bunch of people will stiff him this year with how bad things are and wants to plsay it safe. Call him and work it out for a reasonable timeframe
