So you are going fishing with your buddies, be it on a trip for a few hours, an all nighter or a multi-day excursion! What is your "must have" fishing food/snack that you just can't be without? With many its a ritualistic food so I know what a few friends of mine might answer!:hihi:

Early morning trips on the skiff I absolutely have to have a thermos of fresh hot coffee. Bagel and cream cheese, apple, and maybe a breakfast bar. Coffee is the big item if nothing else for me! If I'm fishing at night I'll bring water and jerky. A nice cold beer is waiting at the end!:gu:

For me, not so much besides a mountain dew and some jerky,, but with the kids, we always have to get dorritos or some other chips and usually a loaf of bread and ham and cheese so my daughter can whip up some sandwiches.... She usually makes em as she doesnt like to touch the fish or bait, so she has the cleanest hands...

Water and Dr. Pepper to drink. Fishing from shore, I usually have some Cliff bars or something similar and maybe a sandwich if I'm planning on being out long.

On the boat, peanut butter filled or regular pretzels and an Italian sandwich with hard salami, capicola and fontina cheese.

This is a damn healthy lot. If a mini mart is open on the way to the spot...a premade egg , bacon and cheese sandwich and coffee.
After fishing, pork rinds. And maybe an ice tea.
Now that's good eats.

Lets just say I thoroughly enjoy the close proximity of fast food joints to the canal. Usually bring my own snacks, sandwiches, water, coffee, etc. But more often than not I like to catch McD's breakfast after a dawn session, or hit up the dollar menu late night.

I try and get by with just water and save snacks for the ride home.If I eat before or during I end up going home wearing one sock and it's never fun leading up to that point.I try to not eat much the day of because the gut can make me or break me.My stomach is like a crystal ball and I need it's permission to fish.
