View Full Version : How would you approach this spot?
Circlehook 02-18-2009, 09:33 PM Okay, so I have been practicing swimming at the Y with my 40 ft aluminum ladder, in my wetsuit, so I think I can make it out to that far off rock. I still have not figured out how to A. Open the ladder B. extend the ladder and C. climb the ladder as the water is 20+ ft deep there and the "atoll" i want to fish off is 35ft off the water . I really don't want to skish.
How would you fish this spot if you came across it?
There is an award for whoever can guess this spot.

Me. I read an article about a couple who were walking the beach in Oregon. He took his girlfriend to Proposal Rock and they stood on the rock. As he was on his knee, a wave came and swept her off the rock. He survived. Guess it wasn't meant to be.

Close enough. It is from Trinidad CA, couple hundred miles north of Big Sur. Wish it was on east coast.
