OTOH you could put it in the rice and then stick the whole thing in the oven. Then you might wind up with a fixed cell phone and something to eat. :rotf2: FishermanTim 02-20-2009, 02:16 PM Yeah, "Dirty rice and beans" comes to mind.....:yak: Raven 02-20-2009, 04:11 PM i was reaching down to grab a trout when it came off the hook  the trout was weary and thought it wasn't free yet and at that very same moment my cell phone slides out of my shirt pocket right into the lake ka BLOOOP ! so i asked myself in a split second should i grab the trout or the phone? screw that! i grabbed the trout then i grabbed the phone :tooth: instantly another idea popped into my head i quickly took off my sweatshirt and tied a knot in the sleeve and tossed the phone in and down the arm hole next i grabbed the opposite sleeve and swung the sweatshirt and the phone helicopter style round and round as fast as i could around twenty five times over my head after that, i put it on my sunny dashboard of my vehicle when i got home i placed it on the base board heater the next day it worked perfectly ! :kewl: 2na 02-24-2009, 10:20 AM I've done the sunny dashboard thing to a pager before, it worked like a charm. Salt water, too - I douched it in fresh water from my cooler first, then to the dash. 45 minutes later I was back in business. That's what I do if working outside in the rain. Tagger 02-24-2009, 04:00 PM  Why not just put in a ziplock ? That's what I do if working outside in the rain. Mishaps happen when you go to use it or answer it .. once when dialing I watched one drop of water roll off my thumb and in a number .. junk FishnGrega 02-24-2009, 04:12 PM Wish I know that trick back on my 21st birthday a few years ago over at Fantasy's strip club.... Cost me a phone and about $160 worth of dances to make up for how pissed I was about my phone. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
