So if we send 15K more troops to Afghanistan, we must have a clear objective and a defined exit strategy right? Anyone know what that would be.........

Anyone know what that would be......... I'm told exit strategy is the wrong term. Need to define an "End State" - what is the "End State" the administration defines for AFG. Before you send another 15K troops (and yes, they could be used) better define your backup(s) over land supply routes :eek5: likwid 02-23-2009, 03:24 PM I believe you have Iraq and Afghanistan confused. buckman 02-23-2009, 03:29 PM So we don't need a clear objective and a defined exit strategy this time? Only in Iraq? Why's that? likwid 02-23-2009, 04:03 PM Only in Iraq? Why's that? The two situations/countries have absolutely nothing to do with one another. buckman 02-23-2009, 04:06 PM The two situations/countries have absolutely nothing to do with one another. Kill the Taliban Leave So lets put on our Anti-Bush hats for a minute and look at Obama. 1. is a war in Afghanistan legal? Were there UN sanctions against them? Did we use up all diplomatic options? When does Obama break international law? 2. How many civilian deaths are we willing to put up with? When does Obama become a murderer? 3. How far do we go in Pakistan, isnt any attack on their soil illegal? 4. How many Americans have to die before we quit? justplugit 02-24-2009, 12:23 PM 1. is a war in Afghanistan legal? We need to know what the our goverment's objective is and a time table. Time table would be the hardest to predict with their very tough fighting terrain. Russians found that out. Swimmer 02-24-2009, 12:29 PM Did you know that we just negotiated with Russia who is going to start allowing supplies for Afganistan to travel through Russia to get to our troops? Yes we did. justplugit 02-24-2009, 04:06 PM Did you know that we just negotiated with Russia who is going to start allowing supplies for Afganistan to travel through Russia to get to our troops? Nebe 02-27-2009, 01:04 PM dont forget what happened when we left afghanistan the last time...we helped them kick the ruskies out and abandoned them to grow poppies, hash, and left a power vacuum for the taliban to flourish. maddmatt 03-12-2009, 07:46 AM i say.... carpet bomb everything from I to I (israel to india) for a year stop and listen, if we hear anything, do it again. very tired of the muslim thing, good, bad, whatever, time for the fad to end vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
