If you enjoy this music & /or enjoy pretty woman ... then this is a must show ;;

No tears in my eyes .. with O Danny Boy ......... yeah right / tOOOOOOOOOOOO many memories ;;

I know for sure that when I was young / the Irish Amercian girls were not from the same mold as these Lassies ><><><

The promotor must think there are still some Irish in Boston .. Three shows are booked there .,.,

One of my dream vacations is to go to Ireland...I want to spend one whole day just kicking back Guinesses at a local pub, shooting darts and just yakking with the locals......

ALtan are great. You should check out Solas if you do not know of them already.

Here is a link to a tune on You Tube. I apologize for not posting directly but I do not know how to post the you tube clip and have not looked up the post that tells you how to do it.

Solas is very good. Lunasa is fantastic and one of the top band out there now but my favorite is Patrick Street. I got tons as I luv acoustic music and I am as Irish as Paddy Murphy's Pig which helps too.

Patrick Street is an awesome group as well. I saw them at the Bottom Line in NYC. I think it was in 97. Jimi Hendrix has been described as the Jackie Daly of the guitar! Has everyone heard De Danann's The Star Spangled Molly cd. Has the lovely Maura O'Connell on vocals and a great selection of tunes from the 1910 -1920s. Might be my all time favorite traditional music record.
