He didn't like the casserole
And he didn't like my cake.
He said my biscuits were too hard...
Not like his mother used to make.
I didn't perk the coffee right
He didn't like the stew,
I didn't mend his socks
The way his mother used to do.
I pondered for an answer
I was looking for a clue.
Then I turned around and smacked the %$%$%$%$ out of him...
Like his mother used to do.

this reminded me of

back when i was a kid with a paper route

i go to go down the hill to the neighbors house
to deliver their paper

and i notice my spoiled brat youngest brother parked
on his bycicle just waiting for the perfect moment to cruise over there

so i said todd.....could ya take this paper over there since your going over there anyways like i knew he was gonna do

he barks out this NO and a real snotty crappy attitude lifts up his feet
and goes coasting
over there with absolutely no effort because it's a hill....

ohhhh man did he just piss me off to NO END

i screamed ever damned swear word at him i could even think
of at the top of my lungs even creating new ones too...

man oh man was i MAD witha capital M

then my Mother who heard me shouting obscenities
yelled something at me

and without realizing who i was even talking to
i told her to shut the HELL UP

....oops i'll continue this in a few

I thought: MAN oh MAN am i in Deep dog dooo http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/ravenob1/sign-GUYS/mad.png

and so i went to hide in the Garage in the pool room....

because there was a charging Brahma Bull coming after me

with Nostrils flaring and hooves pounding MAD....

.....Mom grabbed a pool cue and started swinging it at me
chasing me round and round ...good thing i was faster than she

and she delivered enough of a CONVINCING sermon that i have never forgotten it

and i have been as good as an ANGEL  ever since.... AMEN

SO Mary, that POEM reawakened that memory.....thanks again
as it keeps me on the path to the PEARLY gates :jester:

You left out the part where his father also tuned him up for being a smartass to his mother.
