Raven 03-16-2009, 04:12 PM not to familiar with peppers but if you say so Don ....i believe you. Sounds Good :musc: ProfessorM 03-17-2009, 09:12 AM will be tough to make it work but would be nice. Next year Seymore and Wilfolk are up and if we get him someone will be left out in the cold. Interesting though. Slipknot 03-17-2009, 09:27 AM according to Adam Schefter, it ain't gonna happen. I hope Adam is wrong. How about getting Jason Taylor :uhuh::drool: fishaholic18 03-17-2009, 10:28 AM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCOSIes1Ods The Dad Fisherman 03-17-2009, 10:29 AM IF they work this out, it will be for the pick they got from Cassell (at least that is what they are reporting now).....that will make things look pretty smart on Belicheks part after he was getting roasted by the talking heads. ProfessorM 03-17-2009, 11:01 AM a second round pick will not be enought to satisfy Car. I would think. A franchise player is worth 2 first round picks i think and JP is probably a franchise player. I can't see this happening but in Bill we trust so you never know. I'd luv J. Taylor too. fishbones 03-17-2009, 11:14 AM a second round pick will not be enought to satisfy Car. I would think. He's only worth what a team offers for him. Carolina really has no bargaining power here. They can't negotiate with the Pats or any other team. His agent can negotiate with any team but the Panthers can't because he hasn't signed the franchise tag yet. He could elect to hold out and Carolina wouldn't get anything for him, so the 2nd round pick might be the best offer they get. If the guy wants out of carolina it should be sufficient..... and he's only worth 2 1st round picks if a team is willing to give that up...highly unlikely someone will give that up. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
