I know they still print it but its not the same today as when us 40 somethings were reading it as children.....society was just different then! Do you older guys remember reading Mad Magazine as kids??? "Spy vs. Spy", all the great spoofs of the classic movies of the day......and my favorites were all of the....."The Lighter Side Of......." pieces!! My older brother had a stack of Mad's that I spent hours and hours reading not to mention the subscriptions I had for years! Remember the "Mad" books???? I still got some of them...classics! Long live Alfred E. Newman!!! "What.....Me Worry?":jump:

My wife Fishchick just reminded me of the back cover how we used to fold it up and it would show a funny picture!!!:rotf3: Boy is this bringing back memories!

I use to get Mad Magazine as a kid ... Looks like you can still subscribe .. Hmmm OTW or Mad Magazine ?

I grew up in the Don Martin/Dave Berg/Al Jaffe period......alot more talent and creativeness than the writers of the mag today. Back then it was cutting edge and innovative.....now its just mokey see monkey do! Sorry to burst your bubble Nebe.:tooth:

that's what made me get into art

i simply loved how small it was

No advertising as they have today. I got a charge out of the doofy looking cartoon characters. I forget the one oafy looking one. But that was my favorite.:wave:
