Just me complaining again....

So now we (taxpayers) are on the hook for car company warranties if the companies fail?

"Your warranty will be safe. In fact, it will be safer than it's ever been. Because starting today, the United States government will stand behind your warranty," President Obama said on Monday.

I cannot believe how much the structure and intent of the founding fathers has gone down the toilet.

To save you on taxes, should I just bring my Suburban to your house to have you fix it directly?.....

Sorry couldn't resist. I totally agree with you though, but that is what you get when the government takes over industry. Taking a page out of Volkswagen's history, a certain someone else did the same thing in Germany........ I just hope it doesn't end up where I think it will. Government running the banking, automotive and medical industries. We'll either become like France or or worse, Cuba.

Did you notice how the markets crashed right after Obama's speech on guaranteeing the GM warranties? DOW down 300, GM down over 3%, Bank of America Corp. fell 17 percent and Citigroup fell 10 percent today.

Ummm GM doesn't make the F-350, you'll have to wait till next week when they take over Ford (this week is Chrysler and GM). Hopefully Ford may yet, pull themselves out of the fire.

Take your complaints to your nearest community organizer.

If you live in DC it may take some time as he will be running GM
as well as inflating tires to the proper pressure so we won't have to drill.

If this weren't another government take over it would be hilarious.

How about the oil changes for life from the now defunct car dealership?

I can't believe he said that. He's losing me on this one.

This pissed me off too. Next people will get tax incentives for buying cars made by companies that received a bailout.

How is this any different than extending loans and financing to banks?

It's not.

Obama made the statment so people wouldn't be afraid to buy American cars. He outlined very specifically that this is a temporary proposal.

While there are many things I agree with, I'm not one to drink the kool-aid.
