My questions:

* Is that 1/2 inch of lead or 1/2 ounce of lead?

* Do these plugs wiggle, roll or wobble?

I got some 1/2 inch belly weights that I use a forester bit and drill it head deep...the weight is 9 grams then I fill up the hole with epoxy not being too nuts I would quess if you pour lead in that hole..it may weigh 14 grams=1/2 oz....3/8 forester head I got a 6 gram weigh thats tight poured in you may get 8 grams.....the more tin the less the weigh will weigh

Those are Lupo's, not Pichneys, pictured in that thread.
The large has a 1/2"x 1/2" cylindrical weight
The medium has a 3/8" x 3/8" cylindrical weight
I don't know what they weigh in ozs.
The plugs swim with a slow wobble.
They don't cast very well because of the forward position of the weight, but are castable/fishable from a boat. They are meant primarily to be trolled. If you want a deep running plug to cast, research under "Conrad".

Thanks for the specs. I've built a few plugs and am scrambling to get them complete. Trolling is popular here, and I fish from a lot from my skiff. The big rig here is an umbrella rig and plastic shad. Might as well be pulling an open Walmart bag through the water.


We don't need no stinking plastic. Plugs is where its at!
