I heard Spiderwire Stealth breaks way below its stated rating.

Good price though.

I used to use it on some reels and had good luck with it. Never noticed that it was light on strength

30# Stealth is thicker than most 50# braids.

It makes good fly line backing, though.

I've used it before without issue.......

I've been using it in the canal for 7 or 8 years now without any issues.
