"I'm Nearly 48."

Get the hell out of here. The woman looks like she's pushing 70.

Regardless, it was pretty amazing. Must be good if it even put a smile on Simon's face.

WOW!!!! What a big surprise.

I don't even know why she would have to compete. Just sign her to a contract and start making recordings!

Unbelievable!

I am a cynical bastard, but Im the only one that thinks thats 100% staged? look at the positioing of the cameras on the judges, backstage, crowd, etc. Im not doubting her ability, but believe it was a set up. Get someone fugly and old and have them blow the crowd away. I think its a stunt.

I wouldn't be suprised if you're right. That shows been on in GB longer than in the US. I'd bet it's starting to get stale and they needed some big publicity stunt to make it relevant again.

Still a good voice on the lady, though. I bet she starts getting guys wanting to knock her boots now that she's famous.

She's so good if she wasn't a legit newcomer she'd be well known already. I think it was just a "happening" and we're all lucky to have the internet to see it.

is to Sing for the Queen of England

I intend to help her achieve that Goal in that i am writing to the Queen

to ask Her to Please allow Susan Boyle to Sing for her
and the whole world.

this lady has the trumpeting voice of the Angels like no other...

Must be that i'm Scottish... i Don't know ,,,,,,but shes Fantastic

Writing the Queen:
Her Majesty The Queen
B#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&gham Palace
London SW1A 1AA

Place the address on both the envelope and at the top of the letter
The only correct way to start a letter to the queen is with "Madam" not Dear Madam, Dear Queen, Elizabeth or any other beginning.
x
No insults
When talking about her always use the term "your Majesty" rather than 'you'
End your letter as follows:
"I have the honour to remain

Madam

Your Majesty's most humble and obedient servant"

then sign your signature.

You should also make sure your handwriting is legible.
~~~
also the first utube shortcut shown has the best sound
I have this feeling that Susan Boyle has the gift :huh:
(take that from my experience )
it's an ancient practice Long forgotten from
the days of Olde and the days wizards....
but a certain view people could "see you "
and then heal you by Toning sound
:point: sent in your direction
with nothing but their voice....
did it border on the magical ? ....sure..
but our whole universe is composed of vibrations,
and how they affect us on many levels.
On one of the videos....i was looking for and searching for something very specific
and that was an honest reaction from someone in the studio.
we'll call them the "Privaleged"... on what it did to them physically
and this one girl said that all of her hair stood up on end....
and her whole body vibrated.... somethin like that...
static electricity has a very similar affect
the same thing happens in crop circles
so she basically she rang the "Tibetan Singing bowl "
of the Audience--- of the privileged... and healed them
Unknowingly of course...
she went in there to show them! very determined
to Rock them.... and she rocked the world...
it's now up to over twenty million views on you tube.
she cut a cd and sold 1000 copies at some point.
Are you kidding me?! I just gave that a listen and she dosn't have a blemish in her voice whatsoever. I can't believe that in 99' someone didn't sign her. She's going to be a millionaire soon. This is a really cool story.
Great job doing Cry Me a River. You got to wonder why they didn't pick up on her then.
I would hate to be the next big name doing the Les Miserable play who has to stand up and do "I dreamed a dream" during the play. They know everyone will be comparing them to Susan Boyle and how can you win that comparison? She owns that song now! :)
Beautiful.
You have to be born with that kind of talent, it's in the genes somewhere.
Didn't know our 17 yr. old Grandaughter had a voice until 9th grade.
She was chosen this year for the National Honor Choir and just placed 2nd in
the nation as a Soprano in an Oaklahoma City performance.
Talk about tears. :)
Who knew, and know one knows where the genes came from as
her Dad was adopted. :( Didn't come from my side. :doh:
Old Grandfathers are allowed to brag. :D
Raven
came in 2ND wow... well you should be proud whether it was from your genetic code or Not..... congrats to you and your grand Daughter.
