Billy Gibbons makes an appearance in the tv show 'Bones' what a character... just like we talked about w/ AC/DC, bluesy, loose and doesn't take themselves too serious. Im hoping to get tickets to them and Aerosmith at Great Woods this summer. The funny thing is, Billy likes some really out there music, a couple of his favorite bands were Depeche Mode and Ace of Base......go figure ProfessorM 04-17-2009, 09:39 AM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn-vBoGIkeE pretty much anything from their First Album and Fandango. Hate the bubblegum rock stuff they went over too when they wanted to make $$$$$ Remember when Gillette offered them 1 million to shave their beards? Tagger 04-21-2009, 06:58 PM Career: Guitarist Billy Gibbons met his future manager, Waxahachie native Bill Mack Ham, backstage at a Doors concert in Houston in 1967. Gibbons' band at the time, the Moving Sidewalks, had a local hit with the song "99th Floor." They soon opened on the Doors' Texas tour. After later opening for the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Hendrix named Gibbons his favorite guitar player during an appearance on "The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson." The Sidewalks broke up and Gibbons and Ham contracted to form a new band Billy Gibbons admired by Jimi Hendrix ..Jimmys "Favirote"..The band I was in covered ZZ Top really well .. Songs we did over the years were .. Master of Sparks,, Beer Drinkers Hell Raiser,,Just Got Paid ,,La Grange,Tush ,,..
