I have an appointment at 4pm in Falmouth. I brought my gear with me and was thinking of hitting a spot or two in the Woods Hole area. Am I a fool? It's probably a little too early. Anyone been fishing in Falmouth lately? I can't help myself.

Nothing, but I did a LOT of scouting. Scoped a bunch of places from South Cape beach to Nobska. That wind was howling this afternoon with BIG seas in some places. Took a few casts here and there but I'm under gunned untill I get my St Croix in hand(SOON). After the last couple of times out it feels like something is going to happen soon.

Ive been out fishing every other day since the 15th, no joy yet, maybe tonight, certainly any day/hour/minute. Last year it was the 21st, water is much colder, bait is scarce, the tides are wrong and finally we get a break in the dismal weather pattern (which is the most important factor of them all in this case) and Falmouth is not the place to be looking.

Probably fish, fix my pond, change the closet around to summer (could take all day), buy a new dehumidifier, watch the Redsox.
