I've got a call into Kent Fab to get a quote on a T-Top, if you have anyone else on the south shore let me know. Any ball park for what I might spend on one for my McKee Craft 196CC, like rod holders and I'd love to have a lockable box for 8 of the 3700 planos and electronics. What are the pro's and con's, hard top or canvas, what should the install cost and take time wise? Saw a low end moduler version at Monahan's, which was keep money compared to what I'm expecting to pay, has anyone had any experience with the modular built to fit type T-tops?

I'm shocked Bob, a T-Top could be a big cramp on how you fish. You ever see Clammer's smaller T-Top?

Salty you have raised a couple questions in my mind. First what is the handling impact of a T-top in general, with canvas or with hard top, are most modern center consoles design to handle well with an after-market T-top. Salty what were you negatives on the canvas, if the canvas will last and stay water-proof for 5 years, I might be inclinded to trade the cost delta to pay for a custom lockable tackle locker below?

Bob why not get a leanigpost with a built in livewell, and the storage you want, and skip the t top
